Fouad Elkoury

Fouad Elkoury was born in Paris of Lebonese parents. His personal connection to the people, conflicts and history of the Middle East are evident in his sweeping journalistic photographs taken throughout this troubled region. Elkoury has published three books, "Palestine, l'envers dumiroir" (published in 1996), "Liban Provisoire" (published in 1998) and "Suite Egyptienne" (published in 1998), the axis of a masterful trilogy about the Middle East. Images from his series on Egypt will be exhibited at Blue Sky in January.
