My work explores an interconnected series of photographic installations that revolve around a central theme: a world without humans and wildlife's reclamation of the industrial landscape. Drawing deeply from literary themes such as magical realism, alternate history and subtle horror, I've worked to create complex and intriguing visual narratives. My work carries a strong environmental message about the impact humans have on the natural world in the hopes that these images challenge individuals to consider the lingering effects of our choices once we are gone.

"Someday This Will All Be Gone" is the first phase of an overarching series and is shot entirely on 4x5 film utilizing in-camera double exposures. These images blend the industrial and natural landscape to highlight our finite human civilization and envision a world of regrowth and redemption amidst accelerating environmental destruction. Making these images in-camera helps to create a representation that is more than just two photographs combined; it is one image that tells the story of the fate of our human-made civilization.
