Exhibition Committee
At the outset, Blue Sky’s five founders jointly organized its exhibitions – a curatorial model which has remained largely intact for more than four decades.
Today, Blue Sky exhibitions are chosen by a volunteer Exhibition Committee comprised of more than twenty members of the organization. This curatorial methodology is in keeping with the democratic, participatory, and member-based mission of Blue Sky.
The Exhibition Committee meets to review submissions, as well as installs exhibitions prior to First Thursday Openings. It is open to current Blue Sky members, but we welcome new participants.
