Midnight in the Valley
In prehistoric times, Death Valley was an expansive inland sea with the landscape features in these images being completely underwater - a classic representation of the subconscious. What would it be like to explore this now-exposed and revealed world? What would walking in the abyss feel like? Midnight In The Valley is a physical trek into subconscious realms involving mystery, beauty, fear, and wonder. Shot in the canyons and badlands of Death Valley National Park, the series was created using a single flashlight to illuminate the vast landscape on a moonless night.
