My work draws upon both personal histories and universal themes as I explore the complexities of mental and emotional health. The navigation of relationships in these photographic narratives invoke the spirit of inextricable systems of support and tell a personal story of loss and healing. My intention in the making of this body of work was to gain some understanding of this past year, which was filled with the loss of a marriage, shifting identities, the celebration of supportive friendships, self care, and the healing my own heart.
