Artist Statement
This project is a collection of surreal and eye-catching images from wanderings and different gatherings around Portland, Oregon over the last year. I am interested in capturing surreal Americana. I am drawn to gatherings where people are showcasing their passions, from dog shows to comic-cons. I spend time freelancing for a local newspaper in Portland, Oregon. I can also be found wandering the city searching for anything that may catch my eye
