Artist Statement
A documentary film regarding Indigenous Astronomy was broadcast on PBS. They mentioned how native people would study the night sky by observing its reflection in water. I filled a wooden bowl with water and went out to take photographs. My first attempt failed, so I found a Baby Moon hubcap.
