Barbara Norfleet

For over 20 years, Barbara Norfleet has been photographing and exhibiting around the country. Her black and white series on her 6 grandchildren, explores the lines of descent within families, as well as the idiosyncratic elements that exist in every family. Norfleet is able to separate herself as “grandmother” as she photographs, while still attaining a personal narrative element within the images.
