Jeffrey Milstein

Milstein’s vibrant color images reflect the cultural and social fabric of Cuba, carefully composed with a strong sense of graphics and space. His extensive series of portraits and urban scenes, faded architecture, show an old country rubbing up against new ways. He writes, “Wandering alone with a hand held camera and an open mind, I found beauty and order in the chaos of the old streets. I met many warm and generous Cubans who allowed me to photograph them and invited me into their homes and places of Work.”
