Karen Bucher’s series is a moving portrait of her 92 year old mother, still living on the family farm in rural Pennsylvania. The farm, and especially the house, have not changed much since Bucher’s childhood there in the ‘50s and ‘60s and her images reflect a nostalgia and history universally present and gently woven throughout the story of Bucher’s own life.
