Artist Statement

I began driving heavy long haul out of Kansas City about 7 years ago, a weird adventure for me. There's a carnival  atmosphere to the trucking life, itinerant, loud, the smell of diesel, growling engines, tired men, gritty fuel stops, turbulence mixed with a lingering gloom. 
I first began on the road in late 2013. I took with me an array of cameras, but eventually winnowed down to a 2 1/4 and a 35, real estate is tight, the view was always expansive and constantly in motion. This is a sample of a few of the worlds I drove past

Artist Bio

I live in Portland, I continue to work in a silver based medium. I shoot film, use old cameras, and sleep on the couch on occasion.
