Artist Statement

THOUGHTS DURING A QUARANTINE
More time together means precious time to take photographs at home with my willing and generous husband. Not many ventures out though. A few trips for necessities and one or two pleasures.  Dreams of future trips to the glorious places in Oregon. So much I took for granted just a few months ago.

Artist Bio

Photography has been in my life for decades, to one degree or another.  Beginning with teaching myself from library books, to hours in darkrooms, to studying photography in graduate school, to putting it aside for years while in business and then in later life, returning to it. As reflected in what I photograph, recently my world is more confined to home and close family and friends.  As I age that’s my greatest interest.
