Artist Statement
The landscapes, structures, and patterns that I photographed in the Pennsylvania natural world provide a correlation between weaponry, the aftermath of bombing, and geopolitical borders to illustrate the global connectedness among faraway wars, the fragility of our economies, and our shared humanity. Conflict is always present even among beauty.
