Yes, they are magnificent creatures - beautiful, extremely smart, social, and clever. The crows of Council Crest Park and I are friends. I am known as the Crow Lady because I feed them every day, much to the delight of fellow crow lovers and the chagrin of fellow dog owners. The crows recognize me, my black dog Dolly and my car, greeting us by flying overhead and cawing to their friends as I make my way on the trails into the park. It is the highlight of my day. My murder of crows (around 35-40 in the winter) and I commune together no matter the weather. It is what we do, where life and art become one. My photos are truly a labor of love.
