Transitions can be expected or unexpected, welcomed or unwelcomed, chosen or imposed, sudden or gradual.
My images reflect transitions that occur in nature and the connection with those manmade: Seasonal change brings winter frosting or unpleasant treacherous conditions; Clouds release their grip on moisture - satisfying the thirsty below and; landscapes transform - slowly through the forces of nature or swiftly at the hands of mankind.
Some transitions are soothing and give me a connection to nature. Others are unwelcomed and perhaps even distressing.
Transition is certain. Some transitions we embrace, some we resist, while others are inevitable.
