The year 2020 is one most of us want to see the end of. It has been easy to feel discouraged in a year marked by racial injustice, a politically divided country and a world-wide pandemic. As an artist looking at work I have made, I find myself wanting to share these images I created that touch on the less than serious side of myself. These images are not meant to be particularly ironic, in any postmodern since of the word. Nor are they meant to make any social statements profound or otherwise. Their simple purpose is to reflect a wink and suggestion of a smile found not to deeply contained somewhere within myself.
