“To an artist, the concept of balance can mean a lot of things beyond the obvious teeter- totter composition. As a photographer with his head in the clouds, I interpreted the theme as a dance between the elements—earth and sky. As one echoes the other, the forces of nature seem to me to come into a kind of balance, an equilibrium within the frame of my camera.”
