Dalienne, Yoga After 60
“In 2013, I invited 15 people, ages 50 to 74, to put on their yoga clothes, step on the mat, and do a pose of their own choosing. In 2023, I tracked down 8 of the original 15, and invited them, as well as 18 others, ages 60 to 90, to again step on the mat and do a pose of their own choosing. I discovered, just as I had ten years earlier, that practicing yoga as we age means being more mindful, more present, and more aware of our breath. It’s a way to find solace, serenity and balance.”
