Artist Statement
After all the stresses of a career in commercial and motion picture photography, this time with covid 19 requires me to slow down and be more aware of everything near my home. Our special gift is being given this time to pause and really see the things around us. My camera is out of the bag ready to capture another image. I have dreams of future trips to places unknown.
Artist Bio
I discovered my love for photography after borrowing a camera for a graphic arts class at the University of Oregon. I continued to shoot large format on the Oregon coast and throughout the Pacific Northwest. Eventually, I moved into a career managing the View-Master Creative department.
For many years, I have shot Still Photography for motion picture and television productions around the world. My Still Photography experience includes Studio, Location and 3D photo imaging. My Video Production experience includes producing, directing, filming and post production.
My life-long passion with the photographic image continues.
