Artist Statement
Water is what ties everything together in Oregon. From the saltiness of the seas to the freshness of mountain rivers, water is the source of all life. During this period of human absence, the seas keep rising and falling and the mountain rivers rush by without any care if anyone is watching or not.
Artist Bio
My first camera was one of those inexpensive Kodak cameras that I was given at the young age of 8 and I immediately dropped it down the stairs of the Old Ironsides ship in Boston harbor. Years later my girlfriend gave me a Yashica GSN and this cemented my interest in photography. The great thing about photography is that it can be combined with the other interests that I have - traveling, nature, wildlife, and food and wine.
