Artist Statement
Isolation, anxiety and fear permeated the year 2020. Those emotions have been profoundly accentuated by the federal government's complete lack of leadership during the COVID-19 crisis; the result is we live as if time is suspended. Our days blur together. We joking yet often ask, "What day is its?" Each hour of each day feels as if we wedged into in a single indeterminate moment. When will the veil be lifted that frees us from fear and confinement? The images I've selected represent these emotions.
