I consider my body of work to be an exploration of my state of being/becoming reflected through personal, familial, and geographical relationships. Utilizing photographic methods, I explore these connections and their influence on my evolution of self. Recently, I have begun to examine these concepts following a diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Receiving this key has greatly impacted how my identity and artistic practice interact with one another. As the author, I view these images as a constellation of stories told from my perspective to reclaim ownership for myself in order to challenge the historical and contemporary rhetoric of autism.

Visually these themes are materialized through process driven two-dimensional works that function as poetic fragments that employ symbolization. Through this methodology, I use the medium of photography as a tool for processing and reflecting.
