Artist Statement
The world is constantly changing all around us, things transitioning from one state to another, at different speeds. To me a good photograph captures some of the tension that is caused by contrasting elements, things that cause the viewer to seek a meaning that is beyond the obvious. This is more a transition that occurs in the mind, rather than what is immediately apparent.
