Artist Statement

My initial reaction to COVID was to sit at home and wait it out. That didn't last. As a result, I decided on several local trips to break up the monotony. The resulting photos reflect what I came into contact with during my summer travels.
I don't have to emphasize how 2020 was an extraordinarily weird year--but I will.
