Artist Statement
I am interested in the spectrum of identity, intimacy and communication, reflected in my photographic work primarily by the human form and objects I consider figurative.
After the onset of the pandemic, we all longed for intimacy and togetherness with our friends and families. In the summer of 2020, I reached out to professional dancers to help me capture these feelings of isolation and despair, hope and trust, in a time filled with startling transitions.
