Artist Statement
I was in Houston when COVID shut the world down and from there I went to New York City for nine weeks, while it was the epicenter of the pandemic. These pictures were all shot as single images, mostly while taking walks to get out of the house for a while (in three cities), and I have pushed them together into these panoramas. I am interested in how the images transition and combine into each other to make complicated spaces and tantalizing combinations.
