Artist Statement
As a physicist and researcher, Thibault has studied transitions his entire life. He is fascinated by the concept of change and how it can be included in his imagery through the use of long exposure and tilt/shift techniques.
His main focus is Time, which is transition in and of itself. It enables the traveler to move and complete their journey. Time is the link between creation and destruction. And time allows light to travel and pierce the darkness in order to create a world that is always in a state of transition. Never still, always moving and evolving.
