Artist Statement
I am a photographer and also a biologist and ecologist. Transitional zones on Earth are special places; between land and water, between land and sky, and between different states of matter. In these transitional zones, one world meets and interacts with the other in very subtle and imperceptible ways, or quite visually and violently. It’s a form of symbiosis – a tearing down and building up integral to the operations of our planet.
